Couldn't recommend a better Farrier! Chris will go out of his way to be there when you need him, 100% reliable has never let me down once.
My horse suffered a Chronic White line infection/Hoof Abscess Chris was there on call and turned up any time Ruby took a turn for the worst. He went out of his way to liaise with the Vet to decide on the best course of action. The abscess left her with a massive defect which Chris has sorted out perfectly. Ruby was shoeless but the Vet told me I need to keep her shod so I was worried about the cost of shoes especially as she required a heart bar shoe but Chris kept the price as low as he could and it was nothing to worry about! Ruby has made a full recover all thanks to the brilliant Farrier and his 5 star skills.
Chris has the horses (and Owners) best interest at heart you can rely on him in every way, I could not recommend him highly enough. I'm afraid he is stuck with me and my Mare for life and if you really want to sweeten him up, make him a Cappuccino.

I have been using Chris Dowler as my farrier for a few months now and I would highly recommend him. He is very patient and is always happy to answer any questions I may have. I have had to call him out a couple of times for lost shoes (any horse owner will know how frustrating this can be!) and he has been able to get to me both times at very short notice. As horse owners we know the importance of a good Farrier and I have found mine, great service Thanks Chris.
